Students make dean

CASTINE, Maine – Nicole McKenna, Janelle Roope and Derrek Belanger, all of Presque Isle; and Jordan Bartol, formerly of Mapleton and now of Charlotte, were recently named to the Dean’s List at Maine Maritime Academy for outstanding academic achievement in the first semester of the 2006-2007 academic year.
    Students named to the Dean’s List earn a grade point average of 3.3 or above on a 4.0 scale.
McKenna, a member of the class of 2007, is majoring in marine biology. She is a graduate of Presque Isle High School.
Roope, a member of the class of 2008, is majoring in marine biology. She is a graduate of PIHS.
Belanger, a member of the class of 2010, is majoring in power engineering technology. He is a graduate of PIHS.
Bartol, a member of the class of 2010, is majoring in power engineering technology. He is a graduate of PIHS.
