Erickson receives degree

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Beverly Erickson, a student at Kaplan University, was awarded a degree with honors during the commencement ceremony for online students at Coral Springs Center for the Arts in Coral Springs, Fla.
Erickson, of Presque Isle, was awarded an associate of applied science degree in paralegal studies, Summa Cum Laude.
    The commencement celebrated the achievements of more than 2,300 online graduates. Richard M. Smith, chairman and editor-in-chief of the award-winning magazine Newsweek, served as the commencement speaker.

Bentley College names Foster to dean’s list

WALTHAM, MASS. –Dean of Arts and Science Catherine Davy and Dean of Business Margrethe Olson at Bentley College, have named local student Joshua Foster, of Fort Fairfield, to the dean’s list.
Foster has achieved outstanding academic achievement in the fall 2006 semester, as a sophomore as an undecided business major.
