Tupper, Hiram Russell, 74, died March 9, 2007.

 

    HUDSON, MASS. – Hiram R. Tupper, 74, of Hudson, Massachusetts, died peacefully on Friday, March 9, 2007, after a short illness. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Richard) Tupper, who passed away in 1994.
    He was born in Sudbury, Massachusetts, on January 18, 1933, the youngest child of the late Victor E. and Harriet E. (Russell) Tupper. He was educated in the Marlborough Schools, graduating from the Marlborough Vocational High School in 1951. He lived in Sudbury and Marlborough, Massachusetts, before moving to Hudson in 1971. He worked at the Koehler Manufacturing Company in Marlborough before retiring in the mid 1990’s and was the Union Steward there, for many years. He was a member of the First Federated Church in Hudson and was a frequent contributor to numerous charities.
    He is survived by his sister, Patricia E. Ashley, of Lakeville, Massachusetts and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Reginald W. Tupper and his sister Randa C. (Tupper) Moody.
    There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the Maplewood Cemetery in Marlborough, at the convenience of the family.
